ondine serves 12,000+ small and mid-size companies from offices in Austin and Brooklyn, and a team spread across 11 states.
My parents ran a bakery for 22 years. Every Friday, my mother drove to the bank to deposit cash and wait for checks to clear.
Twenty years later I was running a small e-commerce company, and somehow it hadn't changed much. Payouts took three days. Wires cost $25. Adding a card for a new hire meant a form, a branch visit and a week of waiting. The tools big companies used to move money had never been built for the people who actually run Main Street.
We started ondine in 2021 with a simple promise: a business owner should be able to open an account, issue cards and pay their people in the time it takes to drink a coffee. No minimum balances, no surprise fees, nothing that needs a branch.
Today, more than 12,000 cafés, studios, shops and online brands run on ondine. We still measure ourselves the same way: how much time did we give back to the person behind the counter?

Every hour a payment sits in limbo is an hour taken from someone's business. We design for seconds.
If a fee can't be explained in one sentence on our pricing page, we don't charge it.
We build for the person who signs the paychecks, not the person who reads the reports.
